UPCOMING BPF EVENTS in Rye, NY Kids’ Portal (password required)
Upcoming APPLE Store workshops – For our second year in a row, Big Picture Foundation (BPF) is collaborating with the awesome creative team at the Apple Store in Greenwich.  The Apple Store will offer 2 workshops designed to help kids build new skills and make artwork that will be shown online in the BPF Spring 2019 Global Gallery.  Attendees will create work for BPF online global galleries and have a blast, while becoming familiar with new technology.
Workshop #1:  Digital Music-Making, Sunday, March 24th and Sunday, March 31st, 2-3:30 pm
During this 2-day workshop, kids will develop digital music-making skills.  Kids who sign up must commit to attending both sessions, in order to see projects through to completion.  Space is limited to 10 kids, so please be sure to register as soon as possible, if your child would like to attend.
Workshop #2:  Drawing with the Apple Pencil and iPad, Sunday, May 5th, 2-3:30 pm
During this workshop, kids will use a range of strokes, marks, and line weights, as they draw using an Apple pencil.  Space is limited to 10 kids, so please be sure to register as soon as possible, if your child would like to attend.
Bi-weekly BPF Leadership Group Meetings have temporarily moved to the Rye Rec (while the library undergoes renovations) All active BPF kids are invited to attend these work-based meetings.  The leadership kids help coordinate local events, write “thank you” letters, and communicate with global groups.  These administrative sessions are not usually art-based. They are best suited to kids who would like to assume responsibility for keeping BPF strong.
