You don’t need to approach the themes as they’re written. If a theme is followed by a direction like, “draw ____________,” you don’t need to draw. You’re welcome to use any form of expression you choose. Example: Draw part of an imaginary animal (it will be assembled with parts from others’ imaginary animals, to create multicultural creatures). Our amendment: You don’t need to “draw.” If you choose to sculpt, print, or sing about a part of an imaginary creature, we welcome your contribution. 2017-2018 Themes
