Nate’s Gift: 14-year-old Nate recognized that in order to maintain our program, we needed to find ways to communicate with our partner schools. Nate donated Samsung tablets, that will enable ongoing connections. The Anjali Khalsa English School has been awarded our first “Global Friend’s Award,” for their extraordinary use of art for outreach! Their teacher, Mr. Tejas Mehta, has been chosen as Big Picture Foundation Teacher of the Year. We are sending two tablets to the children and one to their teacher. Congratulations to Mr. Mehta and his inspirational students!
