Big Picture Foundation children present…
Extraordinary Big Picture Foundation kids at the Anjali Khalsa English School, in Ahmedabad City in the state of Gujarat, India, made “bandhani” cloth. They sold the cloth to raise funds to buy 101 blankets, which they distributed to community members in need of warmth, on New Year’s Day.
Inspired by the kids in India, on March 24th, New York metro area Big Picture Foundation children convened at the Rye Arts Center to loom hats for families in need of warm clothing. Splurge Gifts of Greenwich, CT, will distribute the hats to Kids in Crisis and to the Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County.
