The Friend Link program, a work-in-progress, encourages middle and high school kids who are fluent in English to meet kids who would like to improve their language skills.  Last year, the program successfully launched at the middle school level.  Partners met to make art and have fun engaging a range of activities.

At the high school level, our plan needs funding for lunches, train tickets, insurance, and supervision.  Accompanied by an adult chaperone, partners from various tri-state locations, will meet at Manhattan museums to view art, talk, and have lunch.  Children will be paired by gender and age.
